My Sweet
Kate Program
Meet Kate
When Kate Rigby was born with Pfeiffer Syndrome, her journey came with unique challenges, including the need for a feeding tube. The hospital-provided backpack she received was functional but lacked the quality and versatility her family needed. Recognizing this, Kate's father, Jake Rigby--co-founder of Uinta Design--set out to create a better solution. He designed a custom backpack that met Kate's specific needs while reflecting her fun and unique personality.
Realizing that other families faced similar struggles, we partnered with our local children's hospital to make a difference. Today, Uinta Design donates custom feeding tube backpacks to families in need, ensuring they receive a product that combines quality, function, and care.
We are proud to provide these backpacks at no cost to Primary Children's Hospital, offering parents peace of mind as they care for their children's special needs. Looking ahead, we are committed to expanding this program to serve families through hospitals in multiple regions.

Nearly 1/2 million people rely on feeding tubes, and 40% of them are children. If a child is not able to eat safely or cannot consume enough food or liquids by mouth, feeding tubes can provide the nutrition and hydration needed.
